Job summary

Leggat Auto Group is seeking a Glass Technician/Tint Installer to join our high-volume shop. Enjoy consistent workflow, steady hours, and long-term growth within a fast-paced dealership setting.

You will install glass, tinting, and related components both in-shop and on-site at body shops and dealerships. Desired candidates have experience in automotive glass installation, ADAS calibration is a plus, and a valid Ontario driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Glass Installer preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive glass installation techniques.
• Experience with ADAS calibration is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install automotive glass components and windshields on vehicles.
• Remove and replace damaged glass and seal properly.
• Perform windshield repairs and stone chip work when applicable.
• Inspect fitment and sealing after installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and document work orders.

Your Role :

• Install automotive paint protection film and window tint using pre-cut patterns and bulk material by hand cutting.
• Work in a shop environment as well as on location at body shops and dealerships

Remove and install windshields, side glass, rear glass, and other automotive glass components.

Perform stone chip repairs and windshield repairs when appropriate.

Inspect vehicles for damage and verify proper fitment and sealing of installed glass.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.

Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and timelines.

Complete work orders and documentation accurately.

Assist with inventory management and ordering of glass and related materials.

What You Bring :

Previous experience as an Automotive Glass Installer preferred.

Knowledge of automotive glass installation techniques and industry best practices.

Experience with ADAS calibration is an asset.

Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Relatable trade experience is an asset (e.g. ceramic coating, paint protection, auto glass repair and replacement)
