A technology consulting firm is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to support the redevelopment of GIS applications for the Ministry of the Environment. The ideal candidate will work with Esri tools and programming languages like C# and VBA, focusing on the modernization of essential ecological software tools. This is a remote position with occasional reporting to offices in Toronto or Peterborough.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS (Esri) based projects.
• Experience with VBA, .Net, C++, C#, SDKs.
• Ability to translate technical specifications into working applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software operation.
• Develop detailed programming specifications.
