The ideal candidate will need a college certificate or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying and 3 to 5 years of related experience, demonstrating accuracy in legal surveys. Responsibilities include analyzing survey plans, entering data into GIS databases, and providing quality control. The position starts in-office and transitions to a hybrid model.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in legal surveying or GIS with an emphasis on parcel mapping.
Demonstrated knowledge of boundary and title records.
Experience working with public sector organizations is an asset.
Responsibilities
Assemble, analyze, evaluate, and enter survey plans and title information into GIS database.
Update spatial and attribute data in OnMap.
Provide quality control and assurance checks of map maintenance changes.
