Foothills County is a vibrant and thriving municipality located south of the City of Calgary with its administrative office located in High River, AB. The GIS Data Analyst is responsible for delivering GIS and mapping services in support of organizational initiatives. As a member of the GIS team and under the guidance of the Manager of GIS Projects and Solutions, the incumbent will play a key role in the collection, management, maintenance, and enhancement of GIS data.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of GIS principles and practices, including spatial analysis, cartographic design, and ESRI's online applications. This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong research skills, and a high level of attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. Candidates must have a university degree or diploma in a related field, along with a minimum of four years of professional experience using ESRI software and GIS technologies.
