Hastings High School is seeking a Girls Wrestling Assistant Coach to lead and develop the girls wrestling program for the upcoming season.

The coach will advise and coordinate with the Head Coach, Athletic Director and Principal, focusing on instruction, training, and development of athletes, while fostering a positive relationship with the school and local community.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have successful high school and/or collegiate-level coaching experience.
• Candidates should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the program and the local community.

Responsabilités

• Advise, coordinate, and support the girls wrestlers and wrestling team personnel as directed by the Head Coach, Athletic Director and Principal.
• Coordinate the instruction, training, and development of all athletes and coaches at this level in the sport.
• Model a transformational, purpose-driven philosophy and a holistic definition of success.
• Demonstrate a values-based approach as a coach who develops people first, then the athlete; coach for the student-athletes before themselves.
• Make a lasting, positive impact on the school community and contribute to meaningful coaching experiences.

Job Summary

Hastings High School is seeking a highly qualified candidate to serve as Girls Wrestling Assistant Coach.

Responsibilities

Candidates are desired to have successful high school and/or collegiate-level coaching experience, and/or related successful experiences in educational leadership. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the program and the local community.

This position reports to the Head Coach, Athletic Director and Principal, who provide overall job objectives and observe performance.

This coach will advise, coordinate, and support the girls wrestlers and wrestling team personnel according to expectations of the Head Coach, Athletic Director and Principal.

This coach is expected to coordinate the instruction, training, and development of all athletes and coaches at this level in your sport; model a transformational, purpose-driven philosophy; represent a holistic definition of success; commit to personal development and collaboration; display a values-based approach as a coach who develops people first, and then the athlete; coaches the athlete first, and then the skill; coaches for the student-athletes before themselves; makes a lasting, positive impact on the school community; has meaningful, rewarding personal coaching experiences.

Compensation

• Compensation for this position for 26-27 wrestling season is $5726.
