Job description

This role is a 14 month contract.

Ce poste est un contrat de 14 mois.

Our Account Managers interact face to face and virtually with our customers, understand their needs, and consult to offer the right solutions. We work collaboratively in Field Sales Teams and play a critical role in supporting our customer‑centric business model.

Responsibilities
  • Understand customer needs and communicate accurate and complete product information through ongoing calls to targeted companion animal veterinarians to increase sales and market penetration.
  • Conduct Continuing Education meetings, attend product and sales training, and participate in conferences and conventions.
  • Identify networks and develop strong working relationships with key customers, including Key Opinion Leaders and community advocacy within the territory.
  • Optimize business potential through effective analysis, planning, implementation, and organization of work.
  • Manage territory data through CRM and other relevant territory management tools.
  • Complete administrative duties, including weekly reports, expense reports, and client requests.
  • Report product quality complaints as per applicable processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience in the Animal Health Industry (asset).
  • Thorough understanding of the Animal Health Industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office technology and related software.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Self‑starter with a broad range of people, business, and strategic skills.
  • Strong knowledge of company policies, procedures, industry standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
