Your day at a glance

• Lead and mentor teams of software developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance
• Partner with product management to translate business requirements into clear technical plans
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation
• Manage project timelines, identify risks, and ensure successful delivery of features and releases
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance development for engineering team members

What makes you a great fit

• 3-5 years of experience in software development management
• Strong background in modern software engineering practices (Agile/Kanban, CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing)
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major programming language
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)

An asset if you have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, or scalable architectures
• Prior involvement in hiring, mentoring, or career development of engineers
• Experience managing DevOps teams
