Job summary

A prestigious Canadian university is seeking a full-time Clinician-Teacher at the rank of Assistant Professor in Geriatric Medicine. The successful candidate will engage in teaching the next generation of physicians and participate in clinical responsibilities at the Jewish General Hospital. Required qualifications include an MD degree and certification in Geriatric Medicine. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred. Qualifications

  • Hold an MD degree, and must have completed specialty training in Geriatric Medicine.
  • Be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent).
  • Be eligible for licensure in Quebec and hold certification by the Collège des médecins du Québec.
  • Bilingual skills in French and English preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the next generation of physicians in clinical and didactic settings.
  • Provide clinical practice in the Division of Geriatric Medicine.
  • Participate in outpatient clinics and take on-call duties.
