Job summary

Bluewater Health in Sarnia, Ontario is expanding its Specialized Geriatric Service and seeking a Geriatrician to join the team in a full-time capacity. The program includes inpatient and outpatient care for older adults and offers a collaborative hospital environment.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive geriatric medicine, participate in teaching, and may receive relocation and signing incentives with no expected night or weekend call.

Qualifications

• Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with certification in Geriatric Medicine.
• Eligibility for an independent licence with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Commitment to service excellence with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Interest in training medical students and residents.

Bluewater Health is expanding itsSpecialized Geriatric Serviceand is seeking aGeriatricianto join the team inSarnia, Ontario. The program currently includes one geriatrician and a nurse practitioner and provides specialized care for older adults across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This role offers the opportunity to practise comprehensivegeriatric medicine in a collaborative hospital environmentwhile contributing to an expanding service that supports the health needs of seniors throughout Sarnia–Lambton.

The Specialized Geriatric Service at Bluewater Health works closely with hospital and community partners to support older adults with complex medical needs.
