Qualifications
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing the Ontario College of Nurses.
- Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and/or senior health industry is an asset.
- Ability to identify risk and foster a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy and physician’s orders.
- Ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for the residents.
- Oversee resident care and provide guidance to staff.
- Supervise the Personal Support Workers assigned to the unit.
- Conduct assessments for admission and ongoing resident care.
Skills
Registered Practical Nurse
