Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse in good standing the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and/or senior health industry is an asset.
• Ability to identify risk and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy and physician’s orders.
• Ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
• Create a welcoming and supportive environment for the residents.
• Oversee resident care and provide guidance to staff.
• Supervise the Personal Support Workers assigned to the unit.
• Conduct assessments for admission and ongoing resident care.
