St Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton is seeking interested geriatric psychiatrists to work in our Halton Seniors Mental Health Outreach Service.
The Halton Seniors Mental Health Outreach service combines in office, in home, virtual and long term care assessments, according to patient needs.
In this position you will:
The position is part time, one day per week, and attracts sessional funding support.
The successful candidate will hold a valid Ontario CPSO license and be a trained geriatric psychiatrist with FRCPC or equivalent. There will be an expectation that the physician will be eligible for a Faculty position with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, McMaster University, and that they will have an interest and aptitude for teaching and/or clinical research.
