Job summary

Extendicare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess function and develop treatment plans for residents in our long-term care facilities across Canada. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document progress, and ensure safe, ethical care aligned with provincial standards.

An OT in good standing with provincial regulatory board is required, with a focus on geriatric practice and resident-centered care. A comprehensive benefits package awaits the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills with Residents/families and staff.
• Must provide Vulnerable Sector Check within six months or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in quality occupational therapy in Resident care.
• Assists with treatment plans and goals and communicates to the care team.
• Documents progress and ensures safety and ethical care in adherence with standards.
