Qualifications

• Establish therapeutic nurse-client relationships.
• Document holistic assessments for clients.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education.

Skills

Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

CAPI certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing

Crisis Prevention Training

1 year recent experience developing and facilitating therapeutic groups

Expertise working with complex family dynamics

Education

Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification

CNA certification in Geriatric and/or Mental Health nursing

Two years recent clinical experience in mental health nursing
