Qualifications

• Proof of successful completion of an approved Recreation and Leisure Services / Gerontology Diploma or Degree program required.
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience in program planning and care planning for geriatric population, especially those cognitively impaired.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, develop and revise activation programs based on assessed needs.
• Monitor behavior and condition of residents during programs and report significant changes.
• Maintain program and resident records according to department policy.
