Job summary

Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan team. You will engage in complex geotechnical design and analysis across mine, tailings, dam safety and environmental projects.

Based in Saskatoon, you will mentor junior engineers and grow our Saskatchewan operations. Ideal candidates have a P.Eng in Canada, a PhD? (not required) and 5+ years of related experience, with proficiency in Civil 3D and GIS.

Qualifications

Registered Professional Engineer in Canada.
Bachelor or Master in Civil, Geological or Geotechnical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of related experience.
Experience with design packages for tendering and construction.
Strong report writing and proposal capabilities.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate projects, lead multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior engineers.
Lead design and analysis in tailings, dam safety, environmental impact and geohazard areas.
Coordinate and manage field investigations, instrumentation, and testing programs.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Travel within western and northern Canada, and to international locations.
