Job summary

Tetra Tech is adding an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to our Geotechnical Engineering team based in Edmonton, AB. You will develop technical solutions, manage investigations, and mentor junior staff while coordinating field assignments in Western Canada.

We expect a strong geotechnical background with 8+ years of foundation design experience, plus travel willingness and PE eligibility in Alberta. This role supports a hybrid work culture with day-one benefits and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering; master's preferred.
• 8+ years of geotechnical engineering and foundation design experience.
• Experience with site investigations and geotechnical reporting.
• Licensed or eligible as Professional Engineer in Alberta.
• Willingness to travel Western Canada for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions for geotechnical design and evaluation.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Design and manage geotechnical projects including investigations and monitoring.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate field assignments.
