A fast-growing consulting firm is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer In Training (EIT) in Kamloops, BC. Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of co-op or professional experience in geotechnical engineering preferred.
  • Familiarity with field investigation methods and basic laboratory testing.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with field investigations including borehole drilling and groundwater monitoring.
  • Conduct and document field tests ensuring sample handling and safety compliance.
  • Process geotechnical data to develop subsurface profiles and preliminary ground models.
  • Prepare draft sections of geotechnical reports and perform routine geotechnical analyses.
