iRed, a Volatus Aerospace Inc. company, is seeking a GIS Specialist to develop and manage geospatial datasets and deliver training programs across UK projects. The role combines technical GIS work with potential training delivery and industry engagement, with travel as required.

You'll work on GIS databases, perform spatial analyses, and create maps and reports for clients and training programmes, while staying current with Earth Observation and UAV technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS software and spatial data management.
• Strong cartography and spatial analysis understanding.
• Experience handling geospatial datasets and producing maps/reports.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and overseas.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain and manage GIS databases and spatial datasets.
• Process, analyse and interpret geospatial information from multiple sources.
• Produce mapping products, visualisations and analytical reports.
• Integrate data from UAV surveys, GNSS and remote sensing.
• Maintain data quality and QA standards.
• Support consultancy projects in environmental monitoring and infrastructure.
• Assist in GIS training materials and course delivery.
• Progress toward lead instructor for geospatial training.
