Job description
What You’ll Do

You’ll work alongside experienced hydrogeologists and engineers on a variety of land development and hydrogeology projects. Your work will include both hands‑on fieldwork and data‑driven office tasks, such as:

  • Overseeing drilling programs and monitoring well installations
  • Conducting soil sampling, descriptions, and borehole logging
  • Performing groundwater and surface water monitoring, infiltration testing, and hydraulic conductivity testing
  • Compiling and analyzing field and lab data
  • Supporting project coordination, reporting, and data management activities

This is a great opportunity to develop practical skills while working toward professional registration as a P.Geo., P.Eng., or C.E.T.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who is curious, detail‑oriented, and thrives on both independent fieldwork and collaborative problem‑solving. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Environmental or Earth Sciences (with a focus on hydrogeology, soils, surface water, or groundwater) or an Environmental Technology diploma
  • 2–3 years of experience in environmental consulting or hydrogeology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Experience (or interest) using aquifer test analysis and borehole logging software (e.g., AquiferTest, gINT)
  • Eligibility or progress toward P.Geo., P.Eng., or C.E.T. designation
  • A valid Ontario driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
  • The ability to work independently and outdoors in all seasons
  • Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills
