Assignment Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Contract Geologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Geological execution support for the annual Integrated Winter Drilling Program (171 wells planned) along with monitoring and evaluating geological data during drilling operations to ensure the successful completion of wells. This role involves working closely with drilling teams, analyzing rock samples, and providing real-time geological interpretations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate geological data during drilling operations.
  • Analyze rock cuttings, core samples, and mud logs to determine lithology and stratigraphy.
  • Provide real-time geological interpretations and recommendations to the drilling team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of geological data and findings.
  • Collaborate with drilling engineers and other team members to optimize drilling performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of geological data and wellsite activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during drilling operations.
  • Participate in pre-drill planning and post-drill analysis meetings.
  • Stay updated with advancements in geological techniques and technologies.
  • Provide training and support to junior geologists and other team members.
