Job summary

A global leader in food safety is seeking a Data Analyst I to support the Genomics team in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of genetic data. The ideal candidate will manage data quality, facilitate customer transmissions, and conduct quality checks. An associate degree in genetics or related field is preferred, along with intermediate MS Office skills. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a quiet lab environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in genetics, molecular biology, biology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a laboratory or data-heavy environment is a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage generation and quality of genotypic data.
  • Facilitate data transmission to customers via LIMS and FTP.
  • Conduct quality control to identify data discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with laboratory staff.
