OAGS is seeking a General Surgery locum for a large multi-site hospital system in the east end of the GTA. The role includes access to OR and endoscopy resources and on-call coverage with a 1 in 7 rotation. Remuneration is OHIP fee-for-service plus HOCC, with a short-term 3-month assignment and potential extension.

Start date is January 1, 2027, with an application deadline of November 30, 2026. The position operates within a busy acute-care setting with existing staff of six general surgeons

General surgery locum available at large multi-site hospital system in east end of GTA. Full complement of anesthesia and subspecialty surgery colleagues on staff. Access to OR and endoscopy resources commensurate with on call provision.

Location: GTA acute care hospital

Duration: 3 months with possible extension

On-Call: 1 in 7

Remuneration: OHIP fee for service + HOCC

Existing Staff: 6 General Surgeons + ACS service
