Job summary

Agropur is hiring for a warehouse associate at our Burnaby facility. This regular full-time role supports production through dairy case machine operation, shipping and receiving tasks, and inventory control.

You must be able to work all shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and read, write and perform basic math. Knowledge of forklift and pallet jack operation is a plus; we value self-motivation, teamwork and a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support warehouse tasks including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
• Pick back orders, pack orders, load, and assist production after training.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move goods safely.
• Maintain inventory control procedures and proper documentation.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Your Role In Achieving Results

• Support production by running dairy case machines and executing shipping and receiving warehouse tasks.
• Picking back orders, packing orders, loading, and eventually supporting production after warehouse familiarization and training.

What We Are Looking For To Deliver These Results

• Availability to work all shifts (day, afternoon, graveyard)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to read, write and do basic math
• Class 1 Preferred
• Knowledge of Cooler/Freezer operations Preferred
• Self-directed & enthusiastic
• Able to communicate stock related needs and concerns effectively and proactively, assist in ordering stock items and maintain inventory control procedures
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team member
• Ability to properly receive and document all incoming goods
• Able to maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Responsible for maintaining forklift, pallet jack and other related warehousing equipment
• Perform any other duties as required under the direction of management and/or Assistant Foreman
• Physically fit with good attendance and safety record
• Ability to read, write and do basic math

Work schedule could be 5 x 8 hour shifts OR 4 x 10 hour shifts per week at our 24/7 facility. You need to be available to work a combination of days, nights, and graveyard shifts and schedules will vary week to week.
