Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking a General Project Laborer to maintain the warehouse, manage inventory, coordinate shipment logistics, and perform basic mechanical assembly on site and at the warehouse. This full-time role supports our project teams and facilities with hands-on mechanical and operational tasks.

The position involves forklift operation, quality verifications, and adherence to DNA H&S standards, with potential equipment deliveries to project sites and collaboration

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of construction / industrial mechanics or electromechanics (optional).
• Experience in warehouse operations and handyman tasks (optional).
• Ability to perform basic mechanical, electrical, and mechanical assembly tasks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment received is in pristine working condition.

• Able to drive medium-sized trucks to deliver equipment to our project sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on diverse mechanical equipment.
• Handle basic mechanical, electrical, and assembly tasks.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for projects.
• Respond to requests from engineering / site management in a timely manner.

General Project Laborer

Position Summary/ Primary Purpose

Main responsibilities will be to be responsible for maintaining the warehouse, managing inventory, coordinating logistics of shipment and reception of conveyor equipment and performing various minor mechanical assembly tasks onsite and at the warehouse to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. Additional responsibilities may include delivery of equipment to our project sites, helping with quality assurance verifications and reporting tasks, verifying heights and angles of installed equipment onsite, reading and understanding mechanical assembly and basic construction drawings, carrying out related duties and tasks for contributing to the success of the department and company.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Warehouse Duties

Broad Knowledge (Basic)

• French/English speaker

Demonstrated Physical Abilities as Follows

Full-time position with occasional overtime. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the warehouse to access mechanical / electrical equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
