Overview

General Production - Part Time - Watson Facility at Cargill. This role is located at 180 Watson Parkway South, Guelph, ON. Job Type : Part Time. Shift : Monday, Tuesday & Friday (Afternoons 3:00pm – 11:30pm). Compensation : $20.30 / hr.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensuring food safety and quality
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Supporting roles in the case ready meat process
• Assisting Machine Operator
• Picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, boxing, packing, pushing, pulling, and lifting product weighing 20lbs – 60lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Performing repetitive labour in a fast-paced environment
• Working with raw meat, particularly beef and pork
• Ability to work in temperature-controlled environment (Cold 0-4 Celsius)
• Cleanliness and housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be currently legal to work in Canada
• Must be comfortable with picking, sorting, labeling, boxing, and packing raw meat products
• Must be able to push, pull and lift product weighing 20lbs – 60lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to work in cold (0-4 Celsius) environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Food processing production experience
