Qualifications

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive general neurology consultations and contribute to our acute stroke call coverage.
  • Offer expert assessment and management in our TIA and Urgent Neurology clinics, guided by the Division Chief.
  • Develop a thriving community-based neurology practice to ensure seamless outpatient access and continuity of care for patients across the region.
  • Participate in our regional Endovascular Thrombectomy (EVT) call rotation (1:4) with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, if you possess EVT training.
  • Contribute to collaborative neurovascular rounds to optimize patient management and outcomes.

What you bring to Our Team:

  • Certification or eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Neurology.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
  • Completion of a residency in general neurology, complemented by fellowship training in one or more of the following subspecialties:
  • Stroke (with or without EVT training), Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular Diseases, Chronic Pain, Dementia, and Movement Disorders.
