Job summary

Walmart Canada in Sherwood Park is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver excellent customer service on a fast-paced sales floor. You will assist customers, help with product selection, and support stocking and merchandising tasks to keep the store organized and guest-ready.

• Delivers friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.
• Covers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage when required. Communicates with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained and customer needs are met.
• Zones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
• Stocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and hazard‑free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.
• High Task Volume in a Fast‑Paced Environment and planning ahead to stay energized and focused during overnight hours; manages a fast‑paced workload with accuracy in restocking and recovery.
