Job summary

Walmart Canada in London, ON is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver excellent customer service, maintain an organized and customer-ready sales floor, and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area.

You will greet customers, assist with product selection, and promote products, while helping locate merchandise and resolve questions. The role requires availability for varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, with a starting pay of $18.10 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.
• Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support covers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage when required. Communicates with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained and customer needs are met.
• Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery Zones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
• Stocking and Modular Execution stocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance maintains a safe, clean, and hazard‑free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
