Walmart Canada in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver excellent customer service, maintain a tidy, customer-ready sales floor and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area.

You will help customers, assist with product selection, maintain store standards, and adapt to various shifts including evenings and weekends. This role offers opportunities to grow within a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Offer excellent customer experience
• Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, helping them choose products, locating merchandise and assisting with purchases
• Support selling floor coverage and team assistance, cover designated areas and assist with cashier area as needed
• merchandise marketing, zoning and recovery – zone designated areas to keep sales floor clean and organized, move featured items to module locations and handle recovered merchandise at the customer service counter and other store areas
• Storage tasks and module setup – store merchandise and selections, rotate stock as needed, install safety devices as required and complete modules including flexible modules and new shelves
• Maintain a safe, clean and unobstructed work environment by following company policies and completing safety scans
• Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support store operations
