Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp. is seeking a General Merchandise Associate in Yellowknife, NT to deliver excellent customer experience, assist in product selection, and maintain a well-organized sales floor.

You will cover sales floor areas, support Front End coverage, stock and recovery processes, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the store. The role involves flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.
• Covers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage when required.
• Maintains a clean and organized sales floor, moves feature merchandise to modular locations and processes recovery merchandise.
• Stocks merchandise and completes downstocking, applies product protection, and sets modulars including new shelf caps.
• Maintains a safe, clean, hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures and completing safety sweep logs.
