Job summary

Walmart in Oshawa, Ontario, is seeking team members to deliver friendly, professional customer service on the sales floor. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, promote services, and help locate merchandise to support purchase decisions.

You will cover assigned floor areas, maintain cleanliness, stock and organize shelves, and ensure safety standards. Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required; the posted minimum wage starts at $18.10 CAD per hour.

• Covers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage when required. Communicates with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained and customer needs are met.
• Zones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
• Stocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
