Job summary

Walmart Canada in Lethbridge, AB is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain an organized, customer-ready sales floor. You will support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area and help customers find products and make purchase decisions.

The role requires a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. The minimum pay starts at CAD 16.15 per hour.

• Delivers an Excellent Customer Experience by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise and resolving concerns.
• Covers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage to ensure customer needs are met.
• Zones and merchandises areas to maintain a clean, organized floor; moves feature merchandise to modular locations and handles recovery from various areas.
• Stocks merchandise and completes downstocking; applies protection and sets modulars including new shelf caps.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment by following policies; completes safety logs and ensures displays are secure.
• Remains flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Communicates with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained and customer needs are met.Merchandising, Zoning, and RecoveryZones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.Stocking and Modular ExecutionStocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.Safety, Cleanliness, and ComplianceMaintains a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
