A senior living community is seeking an experienced General Manager for its West Vancouver location. The role involves overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality care and compliance in a supportive environment. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of management experience in healthcare. Strong leadership and financial management skills are essential. The company is dedicated to providing excellent senior care.
Location: Kiwanis Manor Assisted Living, West Vancouver, British Columbia
Kiwanis Manor, built in 2006 and owned by Kiwanis North Shore Housing Society, is an apartment complex with 75 affordable suites—38 of which are funded assisted living units managed by Park Place on behalf of Vancouver Coastal Health. Each one-bedroom suite is approximately 520 square feet and includes additional storage, with most offering a balcony or ground-level patio.
Located near a community centre, swimming pool, library, and seniors centre, Kiwanis Manor provides an ideal living environment for seniors in West Vancouver. The property also includes three additional buildings offering independent living, managed by the Housing Society, while the assisted living suites are funded.
The General Manager will oversee the full operations of Kiwanis Manor Assisted Living, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and a supportive environment for residents. This role includes managing the 38 funded assisted living suites in collaboration with Vancouver Coastal Health.
