Reporting to the Chief Culture & Communications Officer, the General Manager of People & Culture is a member of the YMCA’s senior leadership team and participates in all elements of Human Resource Management. The General Manager of People & Culture will play an essential role in the day-to-day operations and strategic People & Culture goals of the YMCA. This includes oversight of recruitment and retention across multiple departments, from licensed child care and community programming to health, wellness, and newcomer services, ensuring each area is supported with tailored hiring and people strategies. Additionally, this role plays a part in supporting the New Brunswick YMCAs in Fredericton and Moncton as an advisor and working on strategic People & Culture initiatives.
