Job summary

Indigo is seeking a General Manager to lead one of our stores and drive sales, profit, and a best-in-class employee and customer experience. You will model Indigo Beliefs and coach a high-performing team to achieve store goals and deliver a visually compelling, customer-centric shopping environment.

You will collaborate with Regional leadership, cultivate a community presence, and ensure health, safety, and brand standards are upheld in daily operations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management experience in a retail environment; experience leading leaders.
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, with proper equipment and safety techniques.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required for all positions in Québec.

Job Description

Experience Required
  • College degree preferred or equivalent job experience
  • 3+ years of management experience in a retail environment; experience leading leaders
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
