We are searching for a General Manager to join our team!

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all gym operations and ensuring exceptional member experiences.

Responsibilities include leading, managing, communicating, developing, and training staff such as Assistant General Managers, Front Desk Associates, and Trainers. Ensure all issues involving employees and members are addressed promptly and respectfully. Create and maintain the Judgement Free Zone, promote the Planet Fitness brand locally, ensure accurate deposits, monitor policy compliance, oversee staff performance, control inventory, schedule staffing within budget, manage inspections, complete mandatory courses, foster effective communication, provide feedback, stay updated with company policies, and develop team relationships.

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong work ethic and decision-making skills
• Self-starter with initiative
• Basic computer, math, and communication skills
• Excellent supervisory skills
• CPR/AED certification (training provided if needed)
• Must be 18 or older
• Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, energetic
• Willing to travel if necessary
• Honest, punctual, reliable
• Strong listening and empathetic skills
• Diplomatic in interactions; two years supervisory experience preferred

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking during shifts
• Talking in person or on the phone
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 per year
