The Opportunity

We are looking for a General Manager who will have full P&L ownership of the business and is responsible for running all operations and leading a cross‑functional team. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the GM will set the strategic direction of the business to align with the overarching goals of company ownership. The GM will build and manage a cross‑functional team including sales, operations, logistics, finance, and customer service.

What You’ll Do
  • Direct responsibility for P&L performance, and required to plan, develop, organize and execute business plans to meet the strategic and financial objectives of the business
  • Drive sales growth by gaining a strong understanding of the market, and tailoring products and services to meet customer needs, all whilst providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Build, develop and lead the sales team to execute an effective growth plan while uncovering opportunities to provide solutions to existing and new customers
  • Motivate direct reports and manage the development of staff
  • Partner with Health & Safety to continuously improve and enhance safety discipline, practices, and policies
  • Become a knowledge expert in the market in which the company operates
What You Bring
  • Previous experience in food service supply (sales or operations) or distribution is a must.
  • Bachelor’s level education required at minimum. (technical and commercial education preferred)
  • Previous P&L ownership is preferred
  • Proven track record of driving significant sales growth
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in a fast‑paced operations environment (eg. Packaging, food processing, automotive, fulfillment and logistics)

  • Translates business goals into clear priorities and individual performance targets
  • Build and mentor a team who can drive the business mandate and deliver results, whilst providing the highest quality customer experience
