We are presently searching for a General Manager to join us in leading our people-centric team of hospitality professionals.

The General Manager is responsible for the successful operation of all aspects of the hotel, ensuring alignment with Hilton brand standards, Crescent Hotels & Resorts standards, and ownership objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic leadership, operational excellence, financial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with ownership groups, team members, guests, labour partners and the broader community.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Owner Relations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the ownership group and Crescent Hotels & Resorts
  • Maintaining open, transparent, and initiative-taking communication
  • Understand and align hotel operations with ownership’s investment goals, delivering timely updates on performance, strategic plans, and key initiatives
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to owners, including financial performance, operational efficiencies, and capital improvement needs
  • Build trust and credibility by demonstrating a deep understanding of market dynamics, risk management, and long-term asset value enhancement
Property Financial Performance
  • Critically analyze occupancy, rate, and revenue reports to identify trends and implement strategies to maximize profitability
  • Lead the development of the hotel’s business plan, annual operating budget, and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with both corporate and ownership expectations
  • Formulate complex financial and operational reports for internal and external stakeholders
Leadership Operations
  • Oversee all hotel departments through direct supervision of department heads, ensuring smooth daily operations and consistent guest experience
  • Guide managers in operational excellence, accountability, and associate engagement, while continuously reviewing departmental performance and driving improvement plans.
  • Conduct daily property tours to assess the condition, cleanliness, service delivery, and associate morale
Talent Management
  • Evaluate overall management performance on a regular basis
  • Deliver coaching and counseling, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies
  • Oversee property labour relations and disciplinary actions
Communication & Relationship Building
  • Maintain open lines of communication with hotel staff, corporate support teams, guests, and the ownership group
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, clear communication, and collaboration across all levels of the organization
Guest & Community Engagement
  • Serve as the face of the hotel within the local community by participating in civic and business associations, attending community functions, and representing the hotel in a positive, professional manner
  • Cultivate client relationships and promote the hotel’s offerings to maximize occupancy and revenue
Corporate Engagement & Brand Standards
  • Represent the hotel at corporate meetings, sales trips, and participate in company committees as needed.
  • Ensure alignment with brand standards, Crescent’s operational policies, and company-wide initiatives.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
  • Highly developed knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
  • Possesses exemplary leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of individual, team and property goals.
  • Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate, as required.
  • Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear.
  • Ability to move throughout premises and visually inspect conditions including bending, stooping, and reaching arms overhead.
  • Ability to travel to various sites on and off hotel property and continuously perform essential job functions.
