George Brown Polytechnic in Toronto is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform skilled manual maintenance across facilities. The role involves plumbing, electrical and mechanical tasks, including HVAC-related work, with a focus on safety and reliability.
Under general supervision, you will coordinate service providers, obtain quotes, and manage building systems maintenance for multiple campus sites, contributing to a safe and well-maintained learning environment.

SALARY: Payband G, starting rate $34.60 per hour
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday (varied)
HOURS PER WEEK: 40
WORK MODALITY: On-site (5 days a week)
STATUS: Full-Time Support

Under general supervision, the General Maintenance Worker performs a variety of skilled manual tasks and duties in support of various general maintenance services provided by the Facilities Management Department but not limited to plumbing, architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical that may include, installs, repairs, to maintain building components and equipment, utilizing power and hand tools, on any of the Polytechnic Campuses provided.
