Job summary

Armco Capital Inc. is seeking a reliable General Maintenance Worker to join our team in Montreal.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day upkeep of the property, apartment turnover preparation, and various maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Responsibilities include maintaining interior and exterior common areas, basic repairs, snow removal, and coordinating with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, construction, renovations, or general labour.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of interior and exterior common areas.
• Complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage garbage and recycling.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal and landscaping.
• Move and install equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Respond to basic resident service requests.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
