A modular solutions provider in Langley is seeking a full-time General Labourer for maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will assist with cleaning, observe damages, and perform basic repairs. We have a full-time position for General Labourer (Modular Maintenance & Repairs) in Langley, British Columbia.

The General Labourer is an essential role within the BOXX Modular branch. The role is responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and repair to ensure that our Modular fleet is in optimal condition for our customers. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn the safe use basic hand tools, basic construction installations such as flooring, and panel walls. Basic repairs to windows, walls, and exterior siding. Training will be provided.

Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day with occasional overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with general labor type duties including cleaning, painting, and general repairs
• Observe and report damages on modular units.
• Loading/Unloading of decks, ramps, furniture, and other items as needed
• Assist with warehouse inventory & shelving system for the branch

Qualifications

• Labour, Custodial or Maintenance experience an asset, but not required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, while juggling multiple priorities
• Positive attitude, with strong work ethic and team player
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel to local customer sites on occasion
• Fall protection, First Aid Certification and WHMIS an asset, but not required
• Able to pass pre-employment criminal records check and Drug and Alcohol Testing
• Valid drivers license with clean abstract

Physical Requirements

• Must stand for long periods, with frequent lifting up to 75lbs
• Able to work in all weather conditions (outdoors)
