STARLINE WINDOWS LTD in Surrey, BC is hiring a General labourer – manufacturing to join a self-motivated team with good interpersonal skills. The role is permanent, full time, with various shifts and overtime, starting as soon as possible.

50 vacancies are available and salary is $16.88 hourly for a 40-hour week. The successful candidate will transport materials, weigh items, sort and pack, assist machine operators, and perform other labour tasks while working in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant (manually or with powered equipment).
• Check and weigh materials and products.
• Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
• Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• Clean machines and surrounding work areas.
