Job summary

ALS is hiring multiple General Labourers to work in our Sample Preparation Facility in Vancouver. You will retrieve and stage boxes, weighings, sieving, crushing, loading ovens, and maintain logs under supervision.

Emphasis on safety and quality according to established procedures. We offer an hourly pay range of $21.48–$22.27, benefits including medical/dental/vision, retirement plan with company match, and opportunities for learning and development.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for up to 7.5 hours per day.
• Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Retrieving and staging boxes on carts for weighers.
• Returning and scanning boxes into storage after weighing.
• Supporting weighing tasks as required (sieving, crushing, splitting).
• Loading and unloading drying ovens under supervision.
• Maintaining production logs and lab cleanliness.
• Assisting with layout duties and other tasks as needed.
• Following established safety regulations and procedures.
