🥩 General Labourer – Parkhill Meats

Wage Range: $17.60 – $21.00
Location: Parkhill, ON
Reports to: Senior Production Manager

💼 About the Role

Join Parkhill Meats Limited, a leading Canadian meat processor, and play a vital role in supporting production operations. As a General Labourer, you’ll work alongside skilled butchers to help prepare, package, and deliver premium beef, veal, lamb, and goat products. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role with opportunities to learn, grow, and develop new skills in meat processing.

🔪 What You’ll Do
  • Assist with slaughtering and preparation of animals for processing
  • Support butchers with cutting, trimming, portioning, and producing products like burgers or ground beef
  • Package, label, and prepare products for storage or sale
  • Maintain clean, safe, and hygienic work areas, tools, and equipment
  • Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and replenish supplies efficiently
    Help customers select meat products and answer questions about cuts, cooking, and pricing
  • Learn to safely operate equipment such as grinders, slicers, and scales
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
