FundyPros in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, is seeking a capable construction labourer to join our team. You will assist with site preparation, material handling, and basic building tasks alongside experienced tradespeople.

We value reliability, safety, and hard work. This role offers weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to develop skills through our Career Progression Plan. Schedule is Monday to Friday with potential overtime and training in WHMIS/Working at Heights.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labour or construction is an asset; 1–3 years preferred, not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is an asset.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Good communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
• Must have or be willing to obtain safety certifications (WHMIS, Working at Heights).

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Assist in demolishing buildings.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Perform routine maintenance work.
• Remove rubble and debris at construction sites.
• Position and secure sheets to studs or joists.
