Job Description
In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) patient and staff safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
To provide nursing care under the direction of the Head Nurse and or physician to selected patient of all ages whose needs will vary from minimal assistant to total personal care. Skills acquired through a recognized training programs will be utilized to help the patient return to optimum health.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. Must possess the skill and demonstrated ability to perform the required duties and maintain acceptable standards of practice.
