A healthcare organization in Winnipeg is seeking a General Duty Radiology Technologist. This temporary role involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures, assisting radiologists, and providing patient care. Candidates should possess a degree in Medical Imaging Technology and CAMRT certification. Strong communication skills and the ability to establish IVs are essential. The position has varied shifts and requires a current Criminal Records Check.
Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Senior / Charge Technologist and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission Values and Management Philosophy of Shared Health the General Duty Radiology Technologist MRT performs assigned Diagnostic duties in accordance with their scope of training and experience. The General Duty Radiology Technologist MRT assists radiologists in the performance of radiologic procedures, assists with training and orientation of technologists, participates in instructing students, and provides direct patient care and operational support as part of the multi-disciplinary team. MRTs perform Bone Mineral Density imaging as well as other duties as assigned.
This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.
