Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview
Experience
  • One (1) year experience as a diagnostic cardiac sonographer preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Grade 12 (Manitoba standards) or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a one-year post diploma course in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an approved school or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an approved Echocardiography Program required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Registration with ARDMS.
  • Maintain registry status by obtaining the required thirty (30) hour Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits every three (3) year rolling triennium.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Good organization and human relations skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Mature, professional manner.
  • Ability to adapt readily to stressful situations.
