Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Port Coquitlam, BC, is hiring a General Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will operate a cash register, share product knowledge, keep shelves stocked with fresh items, and assist customers with a positive, friendly approach.

We are hiring for a General Clerk to work at our Prairie location in Port Coquitlam, BC. Open evening and weekend availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).

Compensation Details: $18.25 - $21.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
