Job summary

Cactus Communications is seeking accomplished physician‑researchers to act as Subject Matter Experts in Generative AI for medical research. You will support GenAI product development, validation, and evidence synthesis, bridging clinicians, engineers, and product teams.

Ideal candidates are active physicians with experience in RCTs, systematic reviews, or meta‑analyses and with a strong publication record in high‑impact journals.

Qualifications

• MD degree with Internal Medicine specialization and active U.S. clinical license.
• Advanced research training (PhD/MPH/MS) in Clinical Research, Biomedical Informatics, or Epidemiology is desirable.
• Track record of peer‑reviewed publications as first or senior author in high‑impact journals.
• Hands‑on experience with randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews, or meta‑analyses.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance in designing GenAI‑enabled clinical research workflows and evidence synthesis.
• Evaluate GenAI outputs for scientific accuracy and methodological rigor using established frameworks (e.g., CONSORT, PRISMA, GRADE).
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate clinical workflows into AI‑assisted research capabilities.
• Serve as clinical review partner throughout GenAI model selection, testing, and refinement.
